How to Play
Download the BINGO card (at the link above), and then finish projects between March 14th and April 3rd that satisfy squares on the card and form at least one BINGO (a set of five consecutive squares, running vertically, horizontally, or diagonally). If you plan strategically, you can satisfy multiple squares with a single project. And if you manage to form more than one BINGO, you'll have a better chance of winning the Grand Prize!
Projects can be knit, crochet, or woven, but they must use yarn purchased at Northfield Yarn. Regardless, they must be completely finished by midnight April 3rd to satisfy any squares. (Blocking doesn’t matter, but ends must be woven in.) Then put your entry together and be sure to submit it by 5:30pm Saturday, April 8th.
The Fabulous Prizes
Each person who completes at least one BINGO will receive a discount code plus one entry for the Grand Prize for each completed BINGO (up to a maximum of 12 entries for a fully completed card). We will also give a special prize to the contestant (or contestants) who satisfies the most squares with a single project.
The Grand Prize winner will be chosen at random from all of the timely and confirmed entries. This lucky winner will receive the Grand Prize pictured above (retail value of over $100). The bundle includes three hanks of Hedgehog Fiber Skinny Singles and a Go Knit project bag.
FAQs
What sort of projects are included? Any craft that uses yarn as its primary material. This includes knitting, crochet, and weaving, for example.
When can a project be considered finished? Blocking isn't necessary, but any seams must be sewn and ends woven in.
What if a project uses some yarn that was not purchased at Northfield Yarn? The project can be used to satisfy BINGO squares, but the yarn that’s not from NFY can’t satisfy BINGO squares by itself.
Does it matter when the project was started? No, you can start the project before or during March Madness. The important thing is that it be completed between March 14th and midnight April 3rd.
Can a project count as using a Northfield Yarn pattern (square N1) if I deviated from the pattern? Yes! We understand that being able to customize a pattern is one of the special joys of fiber crafts, so customization is fine, as long as we can recognize that you started with the original pattern.
