By now you may be aware of the construction going on in our building. It's a bit messy, but we want you to know that it's all for a good cause! We put together this brief list of FAQs to keep you in the loop:
What's going on?
We are remodeling the front space (the space that has been unoccupied for the past few months). It will be getting a general facelift, and we're moving a wall to give it about 300 additional square feet. Once the remodel is finished, Northfield Yarn will be moving to the front space. The back space that we currently occupy will be available for a new tenant.
How long will it take?
If all goes as planned, the project should be completed in a couple of months. But it's an old building, so it may have some surprises in store for us that would make the project take longer. In any case, we feel confident that we'll be moving at some point over the summer.
Will Northfield Yarn need to be closed?
We do expect that there will be days when we need to be closed. We may not be able to give you much notice of these closings, so please check our website or call ahead (507-645-1330) for the most up-to-date information.
Can I help?
Many of you have already offered to help us with our move. We are so touched by your support and generosity. It confirms what we already knew: that we have the best customers ever! We're pretty sure there will be plenty of work to go around, so we'll definitely let you know (here and on our Facebook page) when we could use some extra hands. Thank you very much!
