Learning to work stranded colorwork with two hands is the answer to all of the questions! How do you get your tension to be more even? Eliminate tangles? Knit faster??? The answer is learning to work with a color in each hand. Let colorwork enthusiast Jesie Ostermiller help you test out the waters of this magical concept. Discover ways to hold and tension your yarns, manage floats and more.

This is the fourth in a series of online classes that Jesie will teach at Northfield Yarn this year in conjunction with her 2022 knitalong, Head2Toe with Kino & JO.

Jesie Ostermiller is an avid self-taught knitter and designer with a passion for colorwork. Her designs have been featured in various Interweave publications and can be found on Ravelry. She was born and raised in Alaska, and it was there that she fell in love with knitting cold-weather necessities such as sweaters, hats, mittens, and scarves. She now lives in northern Utah with her husband and two boys, which thankfully still affords her plenty of winter weather in which to wear her knitted creations.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner. Should know how to cast on, knit, purl, knit in the round, and decrease stitches.
