Tips for Sweater Success ~Summer Edition~
Instructor: Cynthia Gilbertson
Date: Sunday, June 11th, 2-3:30pm (via Zoom)
There is nothing like the satisfaction a knitter feels when wearing a sweater that they’ve made themselves. With a couple of sticks and string, a knitter can create a beautiful, functional garment — it’s like a superpower! But sweater patterns give you only the basic facts and figures, and sweater knitters often end up learning lessons the hard way. This class is intended to fill in the missing gaps. It is taught by Northfield Yarn’s owner, Cynthia Gilbertson, who is enthusiastic about helping knitters become sweater knitters. With the power of this class behind you, you will have all the tools you need for sweater success!
Skill Level:
To get the most out of this class, you should be at least an Advanced Beginner who has had enough practice to be knitting at a consistent gauge. Choosing a sweater pattern that is appropriate to your skill level will be one of the topics covered in class.
Supplies & Homework (optional):
If you have a sweater pattern that you are considering, have it available during class.
