This cowl design, inspired by Hidden Falls in Nerstrand Big Woods State Park, makes the most of one skein of highly variegated yarn. Three techniques highlight the colors in a beautiful hand-dye: garter stitch, knitting on the bias, and fringe. Optional short-row "ripples" add interest to the simply shaped piece, which is intended to give the feeling of water flowing over a waterfall.
