** 2020 SWW Katie's Kep (Yarn Only) - Michelle's Colorway
"Katie's Kep" is the official beanie for the 2020 Shetland Wool Week. The beanie was designed by Wool Week Patron Wilma Malcolmson and named for her mother, Katie, who taught her how to knit at a very young age. The hat is a tribute to all the known and unknown designers who have kept Shetland colorwork traditions alive.
Northfield Yarn's own, Michelle, has chosen some special colors for the hat and put them into this yarn pack for you.
You are also encouraged to come up with your own color scheme and post your pictures to the special Facebook Knit-a-Long group. All the information about Shetland Wool Week and a link to the free pattern download are available at https://www.shetlandwoolweek.com/free-knitting-pattern/
