Baby alpaca is a super soft yarn. The fine fiber contains microscopic air pockets which makes the yarn very light, and, at the same time is 5 times warmer than wool. Baby alpaca is not 'scratchy' because the yarn does not contain lanolin and the fiber structure is smooth, strong, and elastic. A luxury yarn, with a wonderful softness, Baby alpaca is suitable for all kinds of knitted garments, especially for super soft accessories.
