The Beachy Bucket Hat by Alexandra Tavel is a seaside-ready accessory to see you through the summer and beyond. It’s a playful colour clash design worked in tapestry crochet, with back loop texture running around the crown. Luma yarn is held double throughout this pattern, resulting in a pleasing headwear project that is so quick to create.
This hat is crocheted in unjoined spiral rounds from the top down with the right side facing. Yarn is held double throughout. Use a stitch marker to keep track of the beginning of the round. Increases are staggered to keep edges round. The colorwork detail is achieved using tapestry crochet.
