The official 2023 Shetland Wool Week knitting pattern the ‘Buggiflooer Beanie’ has been exclusively designed by Alison Rendall.
We've put together kits in three color options for you to get started on your very own Buggiflooer: Original & Bold.
Original (the light blues & tan) is almost exactly the colors called for in the SWW sample, with one small substitution. The kit will come with:
- 6 balls of J&S 2ply Jumper Weight (1 each in colors 77, 90, FC34, 14, 96, 1403 (substitution for 9097)
- Paper pattern booklet for the Buggiflooer Beanie
Bold (bright red, blue, green) is a super fun variation for those looking for stronger colors. The kit will come with:
- 5 balls of J&S 2ply Jumper Weight (1 each in colors FC41, 23, 79, 132, 1403)
- 1 ball of J&S Supreme Jumper Weight in #2005
- Paper pattern booklet for the Buggiflooer Beanie
Spring Garden (pinks) is a great variation for those wanting something a little springier. The kit will come with:
- 6 balls of J&S 2ply Jumper Weight (1 each in colors 202, FC14, 7, 8, FC22, 79)
- Paper pattern booklet for the Buggiflooer Beanie
