Cassini Sweater, designed by Oksana Dymyd, is a flattering A-line yoke sweater worked in four shades of Luma. Striking thin lines define the neck, sleeve and hem edges, and marks each block of colour. The sleeves are knit flat and seamed, whereas the body is knit in the round, combining into a flowing sweater with lots of room. There is lots to enjoy with this design, and what’s more, the shoulders have beautiful lace detailing which really lifts the garment.
The Cassini Sweater is knit in Luma, from The Fibre Company, a dk weight wool, cotton, & silk blend perfect for spring.

3.5mm (US 4) circular needle in length smaller than finished chest circumference
- 4mm (US 6) circular needle (or size to obtain gauge) in length smaller than finished chest circumference
- 5mm (US 8) circular needle in length smaller than finished chest circumference
- 3.5mm (US 4) 40 cm (16 in) circular needle for neck trim
- 4mm (US 6) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round (or size to obtain gauge) for sleeves

This pattern is designed to be worn fitted, with minimal ease around the chest, in some cases with a small amount of negative ease 2.5 to -2.5 cm (1.5 to -0.25 in).
