Hedgehog Fibers Tweedy Lullaby

New to the Tweedy line is Lullaby!

This tweed DK yarn is made from 50% recycled fiber, and is soft, yet wooly, not superwash and blooms beautifully after washing. Here is what Hedgehog Fibres has to say about this truly special yarn:

The coloured bits are our own hand-dyed waste -- the ties that we take off the hand dyed skeins. We save them very diligently and it's a total labour of love!

We have been collecting the ties for a while and . . . finally found a mill that could process these, which means re-carding them, blending and spinning into yarn again. Resulting in a batch of this lovely tweed yarn with colourful speckles.
