Learn to weave on a rigid heddle loom!

In this class you will learn to direct-warp a Schacht Cricket loom and weave a scarf or table runner. We will also cover basic weaving vocabulary, techniques, and finishing methods.

We are delighted to offer you a safe, in-person class experience at a beautiful hobby farm in Webster MN. Masks are required for all students and instructors.

Skill Level: Beginner, class attendees should have an interest in weaving and the desire to learn!

Supplies to bring to class:
(registered students receive 10% off class supply purchases, excluding patterns)

  • Cascade 220, Plymouth Galway, or an equivalent 100% wool worsted weight yarn in two contrasting colors
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle
  • Rigid heddle loom (looms available for rental or purchase at Northfield Yarn)
