Moon Beam Top, designed by Clare Mountain- Manipon, is a sweet sleeveless top with subtle details knitters will love making and wearing. Knit seamlessly from the top down, this minimalist top features a beautiful neckband of eyelets flowing into a triangular motif, shaped shoulder edging, an interesting armhole trim, garter stitch underarm detailing, and a mini split hem at the centre back.
The Moon Beam Top is knit in Meadow, from The Fibre Company, a heavy lace-weight yarn that combines baby llama and fine Merino wool for softness, silk for sheen, and linen for a crisp stitch definition.

Needles
- 2.75mm (US 2) 40 cm (16 in) circular needle
- 2.75mm (US 2) circular needle in length smaller than finished chest circumference
- 3.25mm (US 3) circular needle (or size to obtain gauge) in length smaller than finished chest circumference
This pattern is designed to be worn fitted, with minimal ease around the chest, in some cases with a small amount of negative ease 2.5 to -2.5 cm (1.5 to -0.25 in).
