Become a Northfield Yarn Annual Club Member in 2020

First Annual Member Celebration January 25!

Become a Northfield Yarn Annual Club Member in 2020.

Did you know that as a Northfield Yarn Annual Club Member, you get 5% off purchases and classes, an annual thank-you gift, free shipping, early access to sales & more? Now is a great time to join, as our memberships begin in January (although new members can join anytime with pro-rated dues).

If you are a current member or purchase a membership on or before January 25, you are invited to join us on Saturday, January 25 from 4 – 6 pm for our first annual Member Celebration! Members are also welcome to bring guests to the celebration, especially crafty friends and family who might benefit from joining the Annual Club.  Here’s a peek at what we have planned:

  • Reveal and distribution of the 2020 Member Gift (we think you’ll love it!)
  • Closing reception for our first Member Trunk Show, featuring some of our members’ favorite finished objects
  • Nibbles and libations
  • Frequent Fiber Points raffle! A very generous member has donated 1000 of her Frequent Fiber Point for us to raffle off. Five raffle winners will have 200 points added to their Frequent Fiber accounts, resulting in a $20 credit to use on their next purchase of $50 or more. You must be present on January 25 and a current member to enter the Frequent Fiber Points raffle.

The Member Trunk show is on display now, so you can still enjoy it even if you are not able to attend the celebration.  And Member Gifts not claimed at the celebration can be picked up at the shop anytime after the 25th.

Please note that participation in our Frequent Fiber Points program is not the same as being an Annual Club Member.  The Frequent Fiber Program is free to join and allows you to earn points on every yarn purchase at the shop. When you reach 200 points, you receive a $20 off coupon for your next purchase of $50 or more.  It’s a great perk that can be enjoyed by members and non-members. If you purchase an Annual Club Membership, you can ALSO enjoy the long list of members’ benefits, including discounts on purchases and classes.

Berroco’s Marsh Mallow Knit-Along

Northfield Yarn is participating in Berroco’s Marsh Mallow Knit-Along, featuring two free sweater patterns perfect for spring. The KAL runs from May 1 – June 30. Stop in the shop to get a copy of the patterns and help selecting yarns, and join us every Saturday in May and June from 10 am – noon to work on our sweaters together.

Everyone who finishes a sweater using yarns purchased at Northfield Yarn by the June 30 deadline will get a prize (including a free Berroco pattern booklet and other goodies) and an entry into the raffle for our grand prize — a sweater’s quantity of Berroco Remix yarn and a tote bag!

Summer Stitch Club & KAL for 2019!

2019 Summer Stitch Club

Northfield Yarn’s Summer Stitch Club runs from June 3 – August 26. We meet weekly on Mondays from 5 – 7 pm at the Contented Cow (we’ll be outside on the patio, weather permitting!).

As always, Summer Stitch Club participants receive a club card and get one stamp for every night they attend. Every three stamps gets you $3 off a purchase of $35 or more at Northfield Yarn, with a maximum discount of $12.

This year, we’re partnering with Knitted Wit hand-dyed yarns for a special, National Parks-inspired #socksonvacay knitalong!

National Parks Collector’s Club

Northfield Yarn will receive four new colorways of Knitted Wit National Parks-inspired fingering weight yarns every month from May – August. If you purchase any of these yarns, you will receive a postcard and a stamp from us. If you buy any four colors from May 1 – September 2, you’ll get a special Knitted Wit patch. If you buy all 16 colors, you’ll get the patch AND an enamel pin!

#socksonvacay Knitalong 2019

Make socks between May 1 – September 2 using Knitted Wit yarn and Shannon Squire’s sock patterns (new patterns released May 9)! Share photos on Instagram using #socksonvacay #socksonvacay2019 AND tag @knittedwit and @shannonsq, Shannon has also started a Ravelry thread for the KAL. Prize winners will be chosen by Shannon and Knitted Wit in September!

Keep an eye out for sock-knitting classes and other related events at Northfield Yarn this summer.
